I was happy to find these towels. They arrived quickly and I immediately threw them in the wash. Of all the towels, only one had an unraveling edge after wash. I have three floors so it was nice that this came in a large bundle so I can divvy out the towels on each floor as needed. If and when I have to restock, I will use this company.
I only use them in my garage when I'm working on my car. I used one once to try and mop some rain water up before I got under my car and it just spread it around, they aren't absorbent and I wasn't really expecting them to be. Great for getting grease off of your hands, tools, under your car, etc and then throwing them away.
I am using these shop towels to replace paper towels (as much as I can). Also, I use them for clean-up. If they get grease on them, I can throw them away with little monetary loss. I use them a lot in my art studios. Coronavirus19: I use them all over to sanitize my house, car etc; Once finished, I simply drop them into a dedicated bucket and later machine wash only them..
I expected just a random bag of old-timey rags with threaded edges in a bag. Instead, I was surprised to see a nicely packaged and cleanly absorbent load of rags that have made my housecleaning much easier! It's nice when rags come bundled cheap enough to be thrown away or else used many at a time. I keep these and use them for gritty jobs, and then either throw them away if too dirty, or else wait until I get a bunch and do a special wash cycle. Awesome value for the money!
Needed a new pack of shop rags. These were priced reasonably and looked nice. They don't soak up water as well as I'd like... though I think that may just be some kind of starch on the fabric from the factory... after they're wet for a bit they seem to start soaking up water better. Maybe wash them first if that's a thing you care about? I use them in my bike shop and they're perfect for wiping up grease and dirt. They also hold up well and don't tear easily which is important because I thread them through tight spaces to clean out gunk and often times they'll snag on a gear or piece of sharp metal. Haven't had any rip yet.
